Welcome Home
Congratulations! Welcome to the family of God.
An Invitation
If you are reading this and have not yet begun a relationship with God, I want to offer you a gift. Not something to earn, not something to prove yourself worthy of, simply something to receive.
This gift is an invitation into relationship, into grace, into new life. You do not need to have everything figured out before coming. God already knows you, and He is inviting you to come as you are.
The Bible says, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8, KJV).
If you desire to receive this gift and begin a relationship with God, you can do so right where you are, by faith, with this prayer.
A Prayer of New Beginning
Dear Lord Jesus, I come to You as I am, knowing that I need You. I confess that I have sinned and ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that You are the Son of God, that You died for my sins, and that You rose again so I could have new life. Today, I turn my heart toward You and invite You into my life. I choose to trust You, to follow You, and to make You Lord. Your Word says that if I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved. Today, I believe. Today, I receive this gift. This is my new beginning. I am a child of God. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Welcome Home
You have just made the most important decision of your life and now, you get to do life with Christ. Heaven is throwing a party and I am rejoicing with you as well!
Saying yes to Jesus means you’ve said yes to cultivating a relationship with Him. There will be moments where you struggle. Moments where you have to deny your flesh. And at times, moments where you stumble. But as long as you keep walking the path, the beautiful truth remains that you will get to do life with Him and there is no greater source of joy than that.
The joy of the Lord will be your strength. And take it from me, that joy is everlasting.
He is the God of the hills, when everything feels exciting and bright.
He is still the same God in the valleys, when life feels heavy. He does not change. This walk will be deeply personal and through your life, the world will get to see the love and grace of God.
You are not alone, you now belong to a community of brothers and sisters who will walk alongside you
And right now, heaven is rejoicing, because you have taken your place in this kingdom family.
I am also cheering you on.
With love,
Inioluwa
