Love Wants to be Loved

In a world that seeks to understand love through the lens of human relationships, it is easy to forget that love itself is greater than what we experience in our fleeting, imperfect connections. Love, which is God Himself, is not distant, abstract, or unattainable; rather, it is ever-present, waiting to be received, shared and loved.
Love Wants to Be Loved is a glimpse into the heart of this divine love offered to us. A love that desires not just to be known or acknowledged, but to be loved in return. It speaks of God’s longing for a deep and personal relationship with each of us.
Love wants to be Loved
Where lies the difference between a beautiful love story and a tragic one?
Participation.
Love given is constant
Love received is a variable
Love refused is a tragedy
Love reciprocated is beautiful.
Oh, what a tragedy it is
To refuse the love of the Father.
He has nothing to lose
You have everything to gain.
Still, He longs for you,
Waiting for this to become a beautiful story.
Everyone wants to be seen
Everyone wants to be known
Everyone wants to be loved.
And Love Himself,
The One who exists as three in perfect communion,
The original who is Love,
Wants to be loved by you too.
And that truth alone begets the question
Who is man that You are mindful of him?
Who is man that You would visit him?
He extends His hands every day
Waiting patiently
Who am I that You are mindful of me?
And still, when I finally come around to Love,
He meets me with a listening ear
Always ready to answer the phone
Even after missed calls and rushed goodbyes blamed on the urgencies of life.
My Father
My God
Many try to imitate, but they fall short.
Have you met Love, who wants to be loved?
Love is patient
Love is kind
Love does not seek His own.
Love who wants to do good by you
Love who is good by nature
The embodiment of the word good
Love
My Love
Wants to be loved by you.
And when Love is received, the story changes
It becomes beautiful.
